I'm not seeing the word analog on their site ? About Us - Music On Vinyl Just tried ANALOG in the search function, which yielded no results. .
Which masters do you use? "We use the best audio available to cut our records. We receive and use different kinds of masters: analogue tapes, original metal parts, lacquers cut from analogue tapes and high res digital files 192/96khz/24 bit. Music On Vinyl does not use CD's as masters."
i called and asked for a box. It came in a box - in one day. Still a couple light crease lines in the back cover. All in all, not too shabby for a ten spot.
Link please. Music On Vinyl uses digital sources? < according to this 5 year-old thread, the statement is in the FAQs section, which I can't seem to find... They've likely updated the site in the last 5 years, but I can find no FAQ section, so without actual proof, I choose to believe their sources are digital. Okay for the two I have, as mentioned earlier, but I need proof. .
My exact quotes were "They usually use digital sources" and when you insisted, I wrote "Never heard of them using analog sources, ever". The sentence of your post I quoted is inaccurate and insinuates I wrote something I didn't. I choose my words carefully and would suggest that you take equal care in reading and understanding them.
About Us - Music On Vinyl it's been a while since i've seen anything about them producing an analogue LP, but they're always really nice and forthcoming if you e-mail them and ask about the source for a certain release.
They did the Bob Dylan monos from the all-analogue Ryan K. Smith cuts. Not sure if they used lacquers or metal parts.
Joanna Nelson - Divers (2LP) ~ 18$ ; Foxygen - We Are Ambassadors Peace ~ 15$ ; M83 - Dead Cities (2LP) ~ $15 (usually 24$)

I've asked MOV several times about their releases and they've always answered that it was digital masters. But for what it's worth, their pressing quality is very nice. Sleeves need to be better though
You can send them an email and they will tell you the source. I've done it a few times and they were all digital.

Anyone on the fence, this arrived in perfect condition. Must not have sold well since it says only 1000 made. Sound is pretty good considering it was a direct board recording with no remixing. Taken from a 1/4 reel made at the time of performance. Well worth it and neat gold wax

Nice one! BTW, I have a 12" of Candyflip that I've had forever. It's 'Strawberry Fields Forever' ***EDIT BTW, if you have a chance to score the recent MFSL Silver Series of 'Into The Labyrinth', the sound quality is absolutely breathtaking! I know the pedigree of the SS is volatile, but THIS one will blow your frigg'n PANTS off!
