But did you know that while they were making the recording, that it was already Monday in Australia? The Aussie version of the record is called Monday In Australia While Sunday At The Village Vanguard.
There was also shelved versions of the album, as somehow the powers that be failed to give these a green light: Sunday At The Village People Sunday Bloody Sunday At The Harvard Vanguard (Health Clinic) SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY AT THE MONSTER TRUCK RALLY!
Do you all remember when we were documenting the issue numbers and the stamper numbers here? Well, I started a board just for that reason. It's kind of like the Shelby Owners club where you can find documentation on this or that Shelby or Cobra to see if the one you want to buy is legit. Anyway, what I'm looking for is basic information that will tell us the basic story of the actual pressings. the threads I've already opened are for UHQR Hendrix, and the One Steps for each of the ones issued so far, plus other one steps and the Ultra tapes from Analogue Productions. The link is: Home | Specialpressings Hope to see you there. It should be interesting to compile this stuff again.
Others might not so if you want more participation and a more complete list, probably helps to repost it.
No I don't take this stuff pretty seriously. I enjoy it very much, though. I doubt, when I get my S&G one step, I'll remember to go to some website. This could be weeks, if I know anything about MFSL.
I meant as soon as they start getting received, those that care what number they got will be the majority of posts here. The only way to forget or avoid will be to stay out of the thread entirely.
Collectors Choice music has a release date of 7/13/2018 but not sure how accurate that is. First time I've actually seen a date though so hopefully.
It begs the question,; did you take them seriously? I don't believe much of anything at this point. In fact, it's been so long since we thought it might come out that I'm actually forgetting it is supposed to.
The only date and website anyone should take seriously regarding a MFSL release is Music Direct. If they have no release date listed, or it is listed TBA or has an approximate month and year, but no actual date, then don't believe any other date listed on any other website. As has been posted many times in many different MFSL threads, Music Direct owns MFSL and they are the golden source for MFSL release dates. End of story.
On a call with Music Direct this morning I asked about the S&G status and was told MFSL is expected to give them delivery dates next week. Not much, but at least we may know something soon.
Should be common sense, but then that's just me. Once everything is set in stone, then I go looking for the best price. A One Step, all bets are off I get it from Music Direct, and I don't even look elsewhere. It's pointless, as anyone but them, can easily run out. If MD ran out, then I can at least say, " I tried."
