It's a really great album , really good sound , great playing , i was able to get this as a blow-out for $10 maybe a year or so ago , still worth it at $20 if you like Jeff ;)

MYKE, the MoFi hangs right in there. Considering the difficulty of finding truly quiet pink label pressings, or at least my difficulty, I think the MoFi is a great alternative.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. It easily bested my Back In Black version, which was my modern alternative to a Capricorn pink label. It's typical modern MoFi, with a deeper bass and quiet surfaces. I won't say you can't find an individual pink label cut that's more liquid but for an album off the shelf, new and shiny, it's well worth the money they're asking.

I’ve given up trying to find a minty pink label. This should do.

yeah i think u r actually right... not sure why they went out of their way to make "original mix" seem new. I guess the re-mix is the one i've never heard.. as i only own the original CD. For $15 though why not.

" In subsequent years, band members have expressed dissatisfaction with the way the album's mixing turned out. In 2001, Ament said, "I'd love to remix Ten. Ed, for sure, would agree with me...It wouldn't be like changing performances; just pull some of the reverb off it."[8] In 2002, Gossard said, "It was 'over-rocked', we were novices in the studio and spent too long recording, doing different takes, and killing the vibe and overdubbing tons of guitar. There's a lot of reverb on the record."[11] In 2006, Vedder said, "I can listen to the early records [except] the first record...it's just the sound of the record. It was kind of mixed in a way that was...it was kind of produced."[12] "
