I know the vocals are their calling card, but I just am not a fan. Would like to hear the band without to vocalist drowning them out to really hear what the band has to offer.

He sounds a little less like Plant cranked up to 11 on this single than the others. If that is his more natural voice then I get why he goes with 1969 Plant mimicry on the other songs.

Their management team should be commended as they have created a buzz. I just don't get it, but glad others are enjoying them.

Sounds like the kid's moving past Plant into Jesse James Dupree territory.

I think they played this at their concert in Ottawa. Reminiscent of 70's blues rock which is why I like it and I hope they have great success on their world tour. By the way, they opened for the Foo Fighters so they had a huge crowd.

Nevermind sounding like Robert Plant, the vocals on the new single sounds like this:

[sarcasm]Great stuff. I mean, really really hot stuff. The saviours of rock.[/sarcasm]

At this point it is trolling. I cannot even fathom consistently posting in a thread about a band I don't like. It's beyond childish.

I legitimately think the kid sounds like JJD on the new song. Whether you see that as a positive or negative is up to you. At least he's expanding his horizons...

They will evolve into other styles. They are still very young.

Any band of young kids that puts a Fairport Convention cover out there for other kids to discover, is all good by me.

Don't see the point of a 5th-rate LZ clone. So a guy prances around shirtless and screams his vocals to rock guitars and we're supposed to go WHEEEEEE? This is not 1969.

Well, if they keep playing the same style, that's fine by me.

Why? Better to put on the real thing instead of the imposter.

There are plenty of acts that I despise, I stay out of threads about them. Not out of respect for that particular artist, but out of respect for their fans.

That new song was the first time I’ve really felt the ripoff tag was justified. But I do like it. Same way I like 77 The Band, though they totally ripoff Bon Scott-era AC/DC.
