Didn't Frasier air on the same network as Friends? :p

Not really. One could have cared less about any of those topics and still enjoyed the show.

Sort of. I certainly appreciated the eclectic, loftier themes and humor of the show, but there was just as much to enjoy in the 'lowbrow' aspects depicting elements of slapstick, vaudeville and farce. The show was truly multidimensional, which no doubt is why it is so widely beloved.

I'd watch a series centred around Lilith and Roz moving in together a la The Odd Couple :p

I could care less about Frasier, but I don't, which is why I just started binge watching the entire series. :)

I'm a fan - but rather than reboot or revive a TV show, why not just do a two-hour movie? I wouldn't mind catching up with Frasier and Niles, and given the show's willingness to explore darker themes, why not make Martin's death the reason for everyone coming together? It honors John Mahoney's memory while also being a logical way to bring everyone - even the colorful surrounding characters like Bulldog, Noel, and yes, Lilith - into the story.

And Frasier and Roz should totally hook up. It's about time.

2h movie? That would be very very long. Plus, the format wouldn't be good. I can't imagine most people would be OK with sitting through 2h (or 4 episodes) of a sitcom in a row. Maybe a 2-parter would be a better idea.

I like the idea of the death of Martin bringing everybody back but the idea of Frasier and Roz getting together is not good. At all. This was explained time and time again throughout the series. They're very different people who wouldn't work as a couple.

They did. There was a documentary about Sting in the South American rainforest playing at the time, which was more interesting.

And any time either gets sick, or for some other plot point, they could go to Dr. John Becker's office and/or vice versa.
They already know each other - this is an original spot shot for syndication (after both series were done?)

Not sure about that as far as Becker. The set behind Danson looks pretty accurate, but that's clearly not the Frasier set.

Why not have Frasier move back to Boston?

Its not 'bad management' that has CBS in dire straights -
it's the irrelevancy of Network Television. My daughter is
    14 - she hasn't watched a single 'regular' TV show in 3
years. She does watch quite a bit of YouTube. All the Networks
appear blind to this - or at best intent on riding a dead horse into
    the ground.

Didn't they reboot Boss and call it House of Cards? :p

Seriously though, it would be nice to see KG in a well written new series, whether Frasier related or not.

What about a live action Sideshow Bob series? Possible title: "That Was A Well-Plotted Piece Of Non-Claptrap That Never Once Made Me Want To Retch".

Yep. Anytime i see anyone in any discussion say " I don't care about -____________ anymore!" it's painfully obvious they actually do. Otherwise they a) they wouldn't be reading the thread about this thing they claim ambivalence about and b) they wouldn't go through the trouble to tell the rest of us how little they care. They would simply not be here if they truly no longer cared.

KG still trying to develop this idea, most recently during a Frasier cast discussion panel at a USC event. He apparently made reference to Niles and Daphne being involved. To which I have to say that, in order for this reboot to work, they have to find a way to break Niles and Daphne up. Can't bring them back as a couple.
