I’m not really a Van Morrison fan, but I’ve always enjoyed “And It Stoned Me.”

"Tupelo Honey" or "Into the Mystic." I think.

Given his immense back catalogue, this should be a toughie but the second I started to think about it, that ‘Down the Cyprus Avenue...’ lyric had lodged itself in my mind as an earworm. Madam George: not only Van’s best song, but one of three or four of the greatest songs ever.

Yes, those 2 for me. Tupelo would probably just take the vote for me. Love that song, but Mystic very close behind.

I'll need time to think about this, but I just heard Wavelength on the radio not long ago.
Not the best, it's got some dated instrumentation, but not too badly over done, and it was great to hear.
And since someone mentioned Domino, I think Jackie Wilson Said is similar and equally good.

I think "Into the Mystic" is the only one that has remained in my top five favorites of his from the first time I heard it. Not necessarily my favorite at any given time, but my most enduring favorite.
