He plays some nice harp on Buddy Guy's album from this year.

I think Mick needs me to come over and straighten out his books.

I don't see any mind expanding drugs in that picture so I bet the next album will suck like Bigger Bang..... Just Kidding!!!.... Here is hoping its a rocker.

It sounds less compressed than the blues album. Hope they leave it as is.

At his best, Mick's a force to be reckoned with on harp.

Damn right. Mick owns Blue And Lonesome due to his harp playing. Keith spends a lot of time slagging off Mick over just about anything it seems but when it comes to Mick's harp playing Keith is correct to praise Mick's abilities there.

They are just books sent to him by others and a couple of gifts. Nothing important.

He's got the 45 cover art from "One Hit To The Body" hanging on the wall, upper left corner -- interesting. Anybody know the graphic artist?

Why would he be kidding? Mick Jagger is an excellent harmonica player and has been for decades.

This news gave me that flutter in my stomach! The idea of some new Stones music makes me so excited. I thought Blue and Lonesome was fantastic (as was Keith's Crosseyed Heart from 2015, often overlooked!) and I can't wait to hear some new originals. No band makes me happier.

No worries as Keith can do it with all of his library experience in Conneticut, aside from the fall off the ladder that is!

If only they'd play the song live(other than the few shows in 89-90). If they could debut Emotional Rescue a few years back, I can hold out hope right?

Thanks that short clip is so cool on a number of different levels! Excellent

And yes Mick is a great harmonica player.
All of my favorite harmonica players are British.
My least favorite players are Americans not of African ancestry.

Am I the only one who would prefer another Keith solo album to a new Stones disc?

I just don't see Mick driving anything creatively interesting at this point, whereas Crosseyed Heart proved that Keith can still deliver (albeit with Steve Jordan's assistance).

Why not both? :D I love Keith's solo work and would be all over a new Keith disc, but my heart really wants at least one more Rolling Stones album. Blue and Lonesome was so great for me because of the chemistry of the band. I thought both Charlie and Mick were on fire on that album. I loved "Doom and Gloom" from Grrr as well, with great Mick lyrics and performance. I don't really care for Mick's solo excursions but I love and value what he brings to Stones recordings.

They are presumably still together for a reason and it shouldn't just be the live shows!
