Over this past weekend I watched all six episodes of the 1981 BBC adaptation of Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy thanks to Amazon Prime. I've read the books numerous times, I've seen the big-budget 2005 film version twice, but had never seen more than a few bits of this version. Lots of fun!
A very creepy show on Lifetime called You, with Gossip Girl's Penn Badgley as, well, a creep who is stalking a girl who walks into his bookstore. Not exactly what you would expect, and pretty graphic stuff for Lifetime.
Back in Very Small Business. Laughless comedy from the folks who gave us Upper Middle Bogan and The Librarians (Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope)
I had been juggling five shows during most of this year: Twin Peaks: The Return (4th viewing -- finished in July) Magnum, P.I. (Original -- finished in August after three years) Seinfeld (about to finish Season 9) The Avengers (about to finish the Emma Peel era) Quantum Leap (on Blu-ray -- first rewatch of the show since 1997)
