Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere— if so feel free to delete. Albums included: Eagles (1972) Desperado (1973) On The Border (1974) One of These Nights (1975) Hotel California (1976) The Long Run (1979) Eagles Live– Double LP (1980) Hell Freezes Over– Double LP (1994) Millennium Concert– Double LP (2000) Long Road Out of Eden– Double LP (2007) Singles and B-Sides (2018) The Eagles Legacy 15LP Set-Elusive Disc
Singles and B-Sides seems a bit unnecessary, unless there are some unique edits. One wonders if the B-Side "Get You In The Mood" will finally be released.
Great for people who missed out on Hell Freezes Over. The entire box isn’t much pricier than that alone. There’s really nothing besides the Millennium Concert I would want again. This is a rare case in which I’m not tempted. Between originals and the ‘72-‘79 box I’m good. I might consider an individual release of the Millennium Concert or Eagles Live.
Same. I’ve got great copies of all the 70s lps. I’m happy. Nothing about remastered from AAA. It’s the only thing that makes it interesting or tempting.
Are the same people behind the John Denver reissues behind this? Other then the last few albums, the Eagles may be victims of their great success, with so many high quality $4-$8 used releases from which to choose.
singles and b-sides - the christmas 45.......get you in the mood..........outlaw man without the banjo intro......i don't think there is anything else other than single edits for radio play.
No, there has not been a complete release. I suspect this will be the same edit as the Selections box set, which is unfortunate because a lot of good stuff was left out of the original release.
The studio version is on Hell Freezes Over but there is a live version from the concert as well that was released.
The cd version might interest me although I already have most of it. If this set brings a few dollars to Leadon, Meisner & Felder then I guess I am in favor of it.
