Years ago their notices seemed realistic and reliable.

    Not any more.

2 movies I ordered on Sep 30, in stock, got shipped Oc 2. I'm told they will arrive by 17 Oc.

Must be coming by bicycle courier....

I bought something and was told it could take 2-4 weeks to arrive. Three days later I had it. I figured they were just setting your expectations low so they would be easy to beat if they wanted to. :)

Are these orders from Amazon themselves or through other sellers?

I was told the 2-4 week window and my parcel was here in 9 days so most likely yes.

The only date that matters is the delivery date:cheers:

Another thing that drives me batty - an order that's been broken into 2 shipments, and I've selected free delivery on both, always gets brought back with free delivery removed, and I have to enter it a second time. Are they hoping I won't notice, and end up paying?
