So will the version of WTNMJ on this new box set include the false start Take 1 and full Take 2?

 

That new mix is very interesting however to me it sounds like separate musicians rather than a cohesive band. It's lost the soul of the originals's sound. But yes, it is very crisp and clear.

Personally, the original mix feels a bit weak/thin compared to the new mix, but to each his own

 

Where did he say this? I was only aware that he mentioned the first attempt being rejected and left it at that.

Be careful criticizing these new remixes. People on this forum don't like that.

Well I really cannot tell via my computer. Love the new Imagine (not better than the original but nice) but I do dislike Pepper. We shall see on White.

 

I am with you on that. I dislike the Pepper remix, but I like Imagine's remix.

 

It did get a reprint in 2009.It was in early 2010 i ordered it and it came in May after some delay.Copyright says 2006,2009.

 

Is it any consolation that the new BITU remix has the highest DR value of any official stereo CD release of the song, including LOVE and the 2009 Remaster?

2018 Remix: DR10
2009 Stereo: DR9
2009 Mono: DR10
2006 Remix: DR8

(It's also significantly quieter then the 2009)

 

Someone else mentioned in this thread of getting one in 2014, maybe a third pressing.
