Spadeygrove, you have some amazing Who photos.

    Here's Boston Garden, 1979.

I don't think of Pete as an athlete, but he sort of was. In his autobiography, he says he was the fastest kid in his neighborhood save one person who could outrun him. So, he may actually have more powerful legs than average. And if you look at him standing on stage, dude is all legs

    kevin5brown Analog or bust.

I don't know why, but I always liked Pete's look with a beard. :edthumbs:

Great Wembley photos - Those were fantastic nights. I was at all three of them, one in the front row - My most memorable concert experience ever. My abiding memory is the aggression - It was literally scary being within touching distance of those lads at full tilt. I'm looking at the ticket stubs right now in a frame along with lots of others on the wall of my office.

I did take those. But as you can probably tell, I was a bit towards the back, not real optimal for picture taking. Using a telephoto lens.

These weren't great shots, I just wanted to put them up for anyone else who might have been at that show.

So if you have some, I'd love to see them!

Hi Chris, and thanks for all your work over the years. I can't tell you how many CDs I've bought that you wrote the liner notes for!

@keifspoon Regrettably I am not the eminent Journo Chris Welch! - I am merely someone called Chris who currently lives in Wales / UK! - I do have rather a lot of concert experience however :righton:
