Funny, my copy didn't include that poster. Fascinating set by the way, if a bit less consistent than the average Sun Records collection. Barbara Pittman should have made it much bigger than she did.
Huh, my order went through. I even got a confirmation email. Now I'm worried that I'll get a cancellation.
Here's a Jack Scott recording not included on the comprehensive Bear Family box set, because it was a new recording he made specifically for a compilation on Curb. It's a shame that Jack didn't release more material during the 1990s, because this version is excellent. Jack Scott's enjoyable country-oriented version of the Roy Orbison hit 'Running Scared' A photo of Jack Scott (far right) in 1990
It's very rare that a Charlie Rich cover is better than Charlie's version, this is an exception. This is a great job, and I think it sounds very close to Billy Lee Riley's Sun material. I have the Sun Discography, and I need to look at the session info for this to see who's playing guitar and piano. This is classic Sun rockabilly.
I emailed them and they told me it would be back in stock in around 10 days, so I placed an order. I’m sure your ok, you would have seen the backorder notification when you placed your order.
Yeah, I got an email today saying the same. It would be in stock in a week to 10 days. Glad I'm finally getting this and for a good price!
Memphis Belles was a birthday present to myself a couple years ago. Ernie B had it for about half price the original cost. Love it!
The new Swingin' Christmas comp is down to $10 for pre-order on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GX5PVZ8
Non-Bear alert! This is a CD I've been after for years, you just have to keep checking because everything becomes available for a decent price eventually.

Neat! Glad to see Omni are still active as a label. They've done some interesting artist-focused releases which have helped to fill some gaps.
Here is a release by an artist that Bear Family has not released anything with: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Authentic-...=1541178245&sr=1-1&keywords=red+river+dave+cd
