    Didn’t Brad Douriff’s character die?

I'm looking forward to it - though the Deadwood characters have been in so many movies and shows and have become fairly huge stars- I'm not sure they will have the same power they once did.
I love Timothy Olyphant but he has done some pretty goofy stuff since Deadwood -the show I first noticed him.

I don’t remember, honestly. I thought so, as he was consumptive, but I can’t remember for sure.

I think he was sick, and might have "gone away," but I seem to recall he didn't actually die. Been awhile since I've watched, though.

just one of the many loose ends left by the profoundly disappoitning abrupt ending.

  11. He had a great run on "Justified". He was good in "Damages" (if underused). The only weird bit was the Netflix series he did with Drew Barrymore as the undead realtor. It had its moments.

Looking at the cast list for the movie it seems as if the supposed dead characters could be used in flashback or exposition type scenes.

Cannot wait. Insert f-bombs and c-bombs where appropriate in all my posts on this thread from here on out. ;)

*I think we should petition gorts to allow us to swear at will in this c***s****** thread. ;)

The only one that kinda/sorta surprised me, although he's a thoroughbred, is Dabney Colman. Only cause I thought the Hearst storyline was over and done with. BTW, Olyphant isnt the only DW alumnus that's made a few questionable career choices!;)

  18. The fact that I can't remember it's name does speak volumes.

That was Gerald McRaney (Simon & Simon) not Dabney Coleman.

Yeah - I loved Justified - great series. I'd consider this new Deadwood a reboot - and reboots usually aren't too good - too much time has past.
