When can we expect the announcement?? Love your work on the Akkerman box set! What was your involvement with this one (or is it too early to tell)?

I'm not totally surprised but I will have to admit I did allow myself to get my hopes up! Regardless, i'm sure the contents of the box set will be great and i'll be buying it either way.

Hello,as the Esoteric titles have been released already any info you have on the first 4 Ohr label releases would be awesome.Do you have any info on the sources used for these or if the original master tapes even exist anymore?

    Hi,

Apart from the fact that this is off topic: yes, some master tapes do (still) exist. Mastering on the recent Pink Years box is identical to the 2012 releases.

    Best wishes, Wouter

Thanks for the reply,at first I was hoping those titles would be in this box but apparently not since Phaedra will be the starting point.Funny that these is another thread going on where it's thought that the new mastering is superior to the 2012 releases.Anyway thanks for your input and work on this new project ,can't wait.

Must have been a direct comment to me, as the submitter.

Personally I can not comment as I don't have any of the earlier discs

When I decided to find out more about TD this was a few months from release so I ordered it. Personally I would have liked to have more information in the box but for the price the compromise is ok

    Yeah me too.
But the concept is a simple clean collection of the 4 discs, all the informations of TD we need are all in the web.
I would have liked some remastering notes though...

It's not an official source, by means that you cannot state that the actual mastering is the same.
Also, check out my other reply to your post in a different thread.
I simply don't want incorrect and/or inaccurate information doing the rounds. Thanks for your understanding, have a nice day.

    Best wishes,

The more that people speculate on what could be in it or say what they wish were in it, the more opportunities for me to be disappointed by what is in it. I'm pretty much on board to buy whatever it is, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that a couple of my relatively simple wish list items make it into the set.
