Waters would have ZERO say in this matter.

That's correct. In fact Roger commented on how he was surprised about how moving the live Wall film was all those years later.

  3. I'm listening to the full Pink Floyd version of "Sexual Revolution" as I type this. It's damn good! It's a little rough, as it's a run through, with some lyrics still unformed, yet it's definitely worth a release. It's not a scrubby take by any means, and could have yielded a solid backing track.

Unfortunately I feel it will be up to Roger's estate to release it.

this is an AUD, so the band doesn't own the tape, unless miraculously there are SBD's of the tour (never to have heard so much as a clip).

Great!! This better should be a dedicated expanded edition for an album like Animals.
[Edit:] I just read the linked article. Okay, "ein aufwendiges Boxset ihrer gesammelten Werke", hope this is not a new Shine On or Discovery thing.^^

Thanks to @Kalli for pointing this out!

And it's not a new Shine On or Discovery thing. Surprised this was leaked before an official announcement.

Cool!!! No telling what this could be,I would think it would start with Animals as the Immersion sets took care of the other albums (except the Wall). So if the SACD of Animals is barebones maybe it will be represented here.Whatever it is new Floyd is good, new Floyd box set is very good!

    Alright, thanks Ron!

Yeah, I was wondering about that. "Gesammelte Werke" can be translated as 'collected works' or (sometimes) even 'complete works'...

Can we create an official thread for this or at least remove the question mark from the title? Just received confirmation that this is happening. Unfortunately I can't reveal specific contents but it's all post-Waters.

Wow! So everything from Momentary Lapse to The Endless River? I hope the Delicate Sound Of Thunder concert film will come on Blu-ray...

That stinks, I was really hoping for a Later Years box that covered the Waters dominated years. Those are my favorite albums and it seems there is still a bit of material (7" versions, alternate recordings, live tracks, etc) that's never made it to CD/digital.

Absolutely. Because I'd be all over the 1973-83 one, but would have less than zero interest in the 1987-95 one.

I suspect it'll be the long awaited Animals box...... November, just in time for Christmas

EDIT: Just read Rons comment about it being POST Waters...... Dammit, when do we get the Animals box?

Would be great if that one comes before the post-Waters box set.
