This one is a great example of how it's all in the fingers - if it doesn't put you in the exact spot, go to 1:48...

Two guys who are fun to watch play & always deliver great solos. Here with a melodic standard:

    Tommy Emmanuel and Martin Taylor

Ulco Bed's Guitar solo starting at 5:58 of video. E minor is a favorite of many guitar players and you can tell Ulco is just having a blast! That loose energy can help make a solo great.

Beautiful guitar playing from beginning to the end. Manuel Gottshing is one of my absolute favorite guitar players.

Nobody would have the cojones to play this "solo" today... and they certainly wouldn't have the feel!

They are solos. Composed and planned solos, to an extent, but they’re still solos.

I just meant because they were more like duets than solos.

But I was also being kind of tongue-in-cheek.:righton:

Rick Derringer with Edgar Winter's White Trash "Back in The USA".

Main solo starts at 2:30, but there are two previous bursts and the whole song rips.

This is still a modern Rock and Roll 101 lesson if you can get there and its over 45 years old!
