With a great british sounding single, I always wondered why they didn't adopt the Beatle hairstyle like most of the other rock groups of that era ? They look more like the Four Seasons.
In fact the rumor (that my brother shared with me as a kid) was that it WAS The Beatles recording under a nom de plume. The good news back then is that rumors floated around and there was nobody to dispel them on theinternet so I'm sure it probably helped sales.
