All of disc 2 of "Hot Rocks", the Stones' best greatest hits compilation and possibly the best compilation of all time.

Mick's songwriting had better "stopping-power" than the NYPD did at the time.

gregorya I approve of this message

Did you mean the instrumental "Liberation" or "Prologue (August 29, 1968)/Someday (August 29, 1968)" which precedes it?

I couldn't find a decent copy of the EP version on YouTube and the Woodstock version's "FISH" cheer isn't SFW.

War Pigs live. So strange to see them in a theater setting. Amazing the power they displayed.

The Beatles White Album, taken as a whole, is the closest thing I've heard from that year that plays like a direct mirror of the times. In terms of coming from a mere pop music group. A true dizzying and fragmented collision of almost every emotion and ideal, good or bad, that was out there at the time.

Definitely this one by the Temptations, from the summer of 1970, "Ball of Confusion" -also, out at the same time, "War" by Edwin Starr.
