You'll notice that the RRS back sticker is EXACTLY what I expected few months back! And that all the tracks I expected on those reissues made their way somewhere I'll try to expect Carnival of Light and Etcetera next time folks
Hmmm. Them's strong words. I look forward to comparing the new mastering with the DCC. Particularly on this track. (Just one more day).
This is my most anticipated track. My buddy could have had both boxes last week and declined....been pulling my hair out since! Lol
Listening with headphones you can constantly hear people talking in the right channel during 1882 (live version). Never noticed this before on bootlegged versions!
Hey, the back cover is different from the original back cover for Wild Life. Is this the first time that they did not use the proper art on a cover of an Archive set??
And if you turn it way up, as loud as it can go, you hear the people saying: "I heard that this fellow was in The Beatles. How about that!" ...
Just received a message from U discover that my Big box is sent. Unfortunately the delivery within Europe is seven days so I won t get it before I take of on 4 weeks Caribbean holiday next saturday. Not even this wonderful collection will make me quit my great holiday in the sun on Cuba.
Yes it is, except for smaller variations like the alternative photos on the back cover of Wings At The Speed Of Sound etc. My guess is they changed the back of Wild Life because the text would be to small to read if they included all the elements from the original back cover, as well as the extended tracklist. It will be interesting to see what the vinyl issue looks like. I'm hoping for something more like the original.
At the Speed of Sound has a different back cover, and for some reasons, the planets in the letters on the Venus and Mars cover got their colors inversed (red planets became yellow, and yellow's became red)
