The Replacements' "Achin' To Be" seems to play in my head at the most random moments, and I'm not sure why. I love the song, even in such high mental rotation. Is there a song that does that for you, and if so, which song?

Right now: I Just Can't Get Enough by Depeche Mode. Just the chorus. For HOURS.

I need a fix 'cause I'm going down...

Depends on the day. I've been listening to a lot of Johnny Thunders stuff lately so today it's Too Much Junkie Business.

But I love Achin' To Be so I'll probably listen to that now that I've seen this...and then it will be that.

    Black Sabbath "Snowblind"...

There are quite a few that sing incessantly in my head, but every time I go to put the kettle on, my brain goes: 'What you get and what you see...' and we're off.....

Strangely, it is Gershwin's I've Got A Crush On You. Not a particular version though, just the tune and lyrics. Happily, I don't find this to be remotely bothersome.

My fave is late-period Sarah Vaughan. Knowing her history of being unlucky in love and hearing her sing it as a grown woman just kills me.

Not really randomly; it has been stuck in my head since 1995 when I played the album 603 times-- Oasis' "Rock and Roll Star"

For many years now it's been "Reason to Believe" , Rod Stewart version. I don't know why, anytime at all " If I listen long enough to you, I'll find a way" etc etc.... Just pops into my head. Funny really because it's my least favourite track on EPTAS.

This Is Not America - Pat Metheny Group & David Bowie.

Watched The Falcon & The Snowman on TV one late night and it made a big impression on me, especially the closing credits with this epic tune. Hear it in my head at least once a day.

An unrecorded Television song called "Persia." The bass line is in my head too much.

Lately it's been "Kings and Queens" by Aerosmith, but it's probably because I've been playing solitaire quite a bit...
