Singers who (would) look weird without a guitar (or other instrument)

Just had a thought: Did Paul McCartney ever do any kind of performance without a guitar in front of him? Or piano?

i.e. just himself and the microphone (on the stand, or in his hand) ?

Donnie Vie stopped playing guitar the last year or two of his run fronting Enuff Z'nuff. He looked wrong and the band sounded worse.

When Springsteen strolls the stage without a guitar he looks like Batman without his cape.

Kurt Cobain. On French TV in February 1994, his guitar begins crapping out around 8:30 in the video and he ditches it at 9:03.

But he recovers with great aplomb.

 

Springsteen without the guitar looks like a plastic action figure. He's got the same ease.
Dylan on piano is passable, but when he sings with the mike in his hand... he's strange.

 

Most of 'em. Dave Matthews looked particularly weird without it.

 

Saw a video Of Keith Richard singing you got the silver without his guitar. He still looked cool.
