    You had Mrs Miller, in the UK in the sixties we had Mrs Mills. Here with Morecambe and Wise. ( no short shrift tho we loved her).

    But I think Mrs Miller was intended to be a parody, but Mrs Mills was not.

    Camper Van Beethoven. Key Lime Pie is one the the best albums of the 80s.

    I’ve only joined here recently but have been a ‘visitor’ for years and - I may be wrong here - but I can’t recall seeing many, if any, threads discussing Paul Weller and his associated projects (The Jam & Style Council).

    Someone is now going to point me to a dozen threads about those two bands plus Weller’s Solo stuff :D

    If I've posted that already, it still needs to be said again.

  10. In that case Mike Love may get the longest shrift on the forum.

    I love this forums ability to search for one's name through the current topic. I frequently have to do that whenever somebody quotes me months or even years later so I can find out what the hell I was talking about.

    Hmmm. In all my 50+ years of listening*, it never occurred to me that it wasn't completely serious.

    (*I listened once, 50+ years ago.)

    Even better would be if there was one button marked "Find my posts in this thread". The search function can be used to locate posts by any member, but most of the time I just use it to find my own posts in the thread, to make sure I don't repeat myself.

    There's a Brooklyn metal band named Type O negative from the 90's/2000's. The perfect band if you;
    a) do not have an aversion to melodic metal
    b) count The Beatles and Black Sabbath (with a little Pink Floyd sprinkled in) as your favorite bands.

    Criminally underrated.

    That description would be very fitting for Trouble IMO. Have you listened to their self-titled album or Manic Frustration?
