I've seen there's already a thread on the matter, but, since it's over 10 years old and many of the titles mentioned in there have indeed been released on DVD, I thought it might be time to give it an
    update :D

For years I've been waiting for several concerts, originally on Laserdisc, to be released on DVD. I've finally grown tired of waiting, so I've purchased them, shipped them to a specialized lab and had them ripped to dual layer DVD discs, with PCM uncompressed audio. I've also asked to have the unaltered files too (something like 20GB each) on hard disk, should I ever like to try to work on the picture quality.
I must say that it cost me a little, but now it's a real pleasure being able to play these in good picture quality (the audio part is, of course, excellent), even on my 65" Oled.

Here's the list, if you feel there's other titles worthy of mention please join in! May be I’ve missed something worthy :D

    10,000 Maniacs: MTV unplugged – 73 min.
David Byrne: Live - Between The Teeth – 71 min.
Hall & Oates: Liberty Island Concert – 95 min.
Hall & Oates: Rock n Soul Live – 95 min.
Billy Joel: Live from long Island – 82 min.
Bon Jovi: Keep the faith: an evening with – 85 min.
The Cure: In orange – 113 min.

Pink FLoyd: Delicate sound of thunder - 91 min.
Police: Around the world – 75 min.
Police: Outlandos To Synchronicities – 84 min.
    Queen: Magic Years 1-2-3 – 180 min.
Queen: Champions of the world - 120 min.
Lou Reed: New York Album – 77min.
Lou Reed: Magic and loss Live – 93 min.
REO Speedwagon: Live Infidelity – 90 min.
Paul Simon: Concert in the park – 125 min.
Sting: The soul cages concert – 100 min.
Pete Townshend: Deep end – 87 min.

Yes! I remember considering this one. I think there's a Dvd of this performance but it must be unofficial.

Still waiting for a blu-ray of the Tom Petty show. Luckily I have a DVD rip that sounds great and looks decent

I've ripped the "Pack up the plantation" VHS (unfortunately, no laserdisc for that one).
As for a blu ray (I'd settle for DVD) release of any of those two gigs, who knows, maybe, with Petty's death... But it's been such a long time already...

Not exactly "great" but worthy of the discussion because it all comes down to licensing: KISS - Animalize Live Uncensored.

I don't think we'll ever see "pack up the plantation" again. Petty regrets that he used the conservative flag as a back drop. Sure, it's easy to cgi out but that show on video is a lost cause.
"Take the highway" could happen though

Didn't know that! That's such a pity, I actually enjoy Plantation's setlist more. That makes me appreciate even more the fact that, at least, I have an excellent VHS rip.

This, I have on a DVD bootleg, pretty sure it's been ripped from the laserdisc; the same goes for:

if it's the version i'm thinking of, it's pretty good quality, but nowhere near what a proper sd bluray could look and sound like (less to no compression needed)

The number of Queen releases that never saw the light of day in the US is staggering. Hoping Brian and Roger continue to cash in on those.
