    "Leftover Salmon" tops my list. I guess I'll never find out if they're any good.

    A couple, but I'll leave the names off for the very same reason I wouldn't listen to them

    I should have done that. Typing those feels repulsive.

    Gorillaz. Between the name and the album art... don’t have any desire to check ‘em out.

    Leftover Salmon, though.... I dig me some polyethnic Cajun slamgrass

    Along similar lines, there's The String Cheese Incident.

    I agree on Gorillaz and I'm a big fan of everything else Damon's done.

    I have checked out Anal C*** but it's hard to tell what the hell they're singing out. Judging by the titles though...

    Any nu-metal band type names with terrible spelling. But they're all crap anyway.

    Puddle of Mudd :laugh::laugh:

    They'll get named anyway ... there are just some cringe worthy names out there .... and the band will be saying "why don't people come check out our great music?" lol

    Oh yeah, in the 80's there was an all female punk band called The Castration Squad. Speaking as a male, that's not a band I'd be eager to check out. :D

    edit: The second part of the name is 'Squad' rather than 'Crew' (corrected). Doesn't make it any less unappealing though. https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/castration_squad

    If you’re a Damon fan, you’re missing out on some great music if you skip Gorillaz! If you put the whole “cartoon band” image aside, it’s really become an important musical/creative outlet for him. The latest album, The Now Now, is short on the special guests that dominated Humanz and is focused on great Albarn songs.

    If I'm not mistaken, the name came from the title of GG Allin song, a performer for whom the less said the better. :D

    Actually they were formed before that song was written. GG was actually a band and was considering them as his backing band prior to his death apparently.

    I didn't know that! (Needless to say, I'm far from an authority on Anal C__ or GG ;)) Thanks for the info.

    I would have agreed with you, but about 15 years ago they released an album with Cracker called O'Cracker Where art Thou? Bluegrass Cracker songs work!

    Generally, if a band's name is a full sentence I consider it to be nature's way of telling me to steer clear.

    This is sick, disgusting and stupid. I hope they get banned everywhere
