Top ten for me, but I can see how they would make top five for someone. :righton:

Exactly what I was going to say. I might go as high as #6 and 7, so top 5 isn't crazy.

Top 5 of the last decade, but e.g. Chaos And Creation, Electric Arguments and Memory Almost Full are far superior, and that's just this century.

No, but you ascribed The Fireman credit to Memory Almost Full rather than Electric Arguments.

You accidently put an 8 after the 1 for Egypt Station but everything else looks right.

I would love this; he could then potentially finally work with Thom if that would still interest him. Godrich producing an experimental album with Greenwood, Yorke and the others helping out at times as the band could potentially be amazing.

Do we know if 'Get Enough' was improvised in the studio like the other two collaborative tracks? To me, the lyrics and structure sound like it was a song Paul already had a demo of, and then brought to the sessions.

If so, it would have been interesting to hear what Kurstin would have done with it instead.

I like the song a lot, and I feel that the vocoder suits it very well, I just think that it could have been slightly more experimental and longer. I think that the build up in the middle of the song, where Paul's vocals sound so passionate, is excellent.

I can't believe the quality of the bonus songs from the sessions : Sixty Second Street (reminds me very much of Simon and Garfunkel in parts), Frank Sinatra's Party (should have been on the album, almost like a 'McCartney 2' song with great lyrics as well), Get Started (so catchy, could have opened the album), Nothing For Free (could have been a hit if sung by a newer act, a fantastic pop song) and Get Enough (Paul in his experimental element).

If you like Radiohead! Personally I wouldn't ever want to hear Thom Yorke's voice on a McCartney album. Johnny Greenwood could be interesting. I don't particularly dislike Radiohead but rarely want to hear them.

I wouldn't want to hear Thom singing (Paul's vocals were mainly excellent on 'ES'), I would be more interested in their instrumentation. I am also not a huge fan of them by any means, but I do feel that the collaboration could lead to something that neither could produce alone at this point potentially.

My dream McCartney solo album would feature production from Kanye West. I mean, if Macca wants to use autotune, he should at least get Ye to show him how to do it right.

Macca and Radiohead could also be great...

If you're talking about sound and style, sure. But as far as quality, I think Radiohead's "A Moon Shaped Pool" is their best album, and it's their latest (I find it to be the most moving of all their albums). I agree with the rest of your statement, though.

I really wanted to see what Kanye would have done with 'Appreciate', which Paul apparently considered working with him on. Kanye's offer to produce a McCartney album is an interesting idea, even if the result would probably result on WW3 on this forum ! :D

I'm sure there would be lots of controversy about a Kanye-produced McCartney album... until this forum hears how great it would be.

I’m sure I left some out, but those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. I’ve been a fan since hearing Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey on the radio as an infant, and I find Egypt Station to be the absolute nadir of an otherwise incredible career.

Agree about the bonus-tracks-incredible. Get Enough has realt grown on me. Just ad you mentioned it doesn t appear to be a song made up on the spot. Great melody and very stark lyrics. Unlike uou I don t find the song to short-it s just amazing how much layers thet hav managed to fit in a relatively short space. On the other hand I foten put tjis song on repeat.
