The man just keeps going! The last two "Postcards" and "Give more love" have grown on me over time.

I can recommend some anti-fungal cream to halt that type of growth... ;)

Ha ha! I can't help it. I need a 12 step program or hypnosis to admit I have the problem of enjoying Ringo's albums post 1975. But really, there is some good stuff on all of them. Well, maybe Bad Boy, Ringo the 4th and that Christmas album are difficult to make a case for.

I've been threatening to start a Ringo album by album thread for awhile. Maybe when this new one comes out!

If people keep buying it, he'll keep making them.

I think he'll keep making them regardless if people buy the. I remember reading somewhere that "Ringo 2012" sold less than 1,000 copies worldwide during it's release week.

He's pushing 79 years old and still rocking. I've enjoyed his solo output and look forward to more.

I admire Ringo and the fact that he's still recording and touring but this release won't be for me.

It's great for his album fans that he's still cranking them out though.

But no one buys them and he's still making them.

My first thought was yawn - but then I realized I liked his last album quite a lot. Yes I know he's been doing this for years, but every now and then he produces something more musically coherent and interesting. That was the case last time round, so perhaps he could pull it off again. And thinking of 'Now and Then' ..........

In my little circle of Beatles' fanatics, I was greatly discouraged that my friends were not giving more love to Give More Love and were more worried about a 50th Anniversary White Album(it in fact was released) or the never-ending speculation on Let It Be(largely answered now with a Peter Jackson film and the re-issue of the original) but no one wanted to know about this new music by Ringo!

Some of my beast friends mocked and patronized me on my love for Give More Love and accused my affection for the album to be false bravado! On one Board, I got in trouble for constantly posting on the Give More Love Thread as the Administrator there accused me of posting on the Ringo Thread to sabotage his Threads ranking the songs on old Solo albums like Imagine and Ram

I for one will buy new Ringo and for sure he is the best singer now of the surviving Beatles! :shh:

One thing I do hope is that he lets Lukather cut loose a little bit. I know it's all about the songs and arrangements with Ringo, but I'd love to hear a stunning solo or two from Steve.

Great post! I'm one of the few who is only mildly interested in the anniversary box sets and actually look forward to more new music from Paul and Ringo.
