If it is, I'll be all over this one. come on, QT, you can do it!

Of course I just had a terrible thought: What if he pulls another Inglorious Basterds and decided to REWRITE HISTORY and have MANSON STOPPED and Sharon Tate SAVED by Pitt and DiCaprio? I would throw up.

Although QT is always a half step away from parodying himself this looks interesting. But not as interesting as a live action Jonny Quest. IIRC he was developing that.

As we know Tarantino has said that 10 movies and he's out.
I remember reading some time ago that he wanted to make a movie of every genre including a porn,
so is this "Once Upon etc." his 9th? I count Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2 as two movies so that makes this new release 10.

Tarantino himself considers Kill Bill to be one movie, and the ads for the new one are very explicitly and repeatedly calling it the 9th.

So then the only question left is, will it be a retro porn? But I wouldn't do it if I was QT because how ya gonna top Boogie Nights?

Science fiction or a real epic Western is what I would like to see

I wouldn’t want him to do another western as he’s already made two. Science fiction could be very interesting, and if his Star Trek idea manages to get made I hope he’ll direct it.

Django was about slavery in the south and H8 was a theater play. None of them was a western to me.

Maybe a sci fi western. That would be cool and very Tarantino esque

    Prediction time.

Could this be Tarantino’s biggest box office hit yet?

I doubt it. The subject of this movie will eventually get extremely grim and real.

I don't know if QT is ever going to be someone that has mass appeal. Those that "get" him tend to really love him. But even then there are some that think his act is wearing thin. Not me. But there are some.

    Thin?

Looks like he’s trying to redeem himself.

Maybe. He needs no redeeming from me. But not everyone loves his ultra violent style.

Personally... I'd sit through a couple of senior citizen ladies knitting if they got to read QT's dialogue. In fact...I sort of want to see that. Right now
