You guys have to read this conversation exchange between my first Discogs psycho-seller and myself. He obviously doesn't speak English as his first language but I thought you guys and ladies might enjoy a good laugh.

    After 4 days...

After this I left a negative feedback warning other buyers that his grading is not to be trusted.

Keep in mind I had already received the refund through Paypal.

    Get ready for it. :D

    I never love you. :faint:

Can you imagine if @MYKE was involved in this? Holy moly!

I'd have stopped a long time ago and would've kept my feedback as negative. It would've read something like "over-grades, communication issues, bad attitude, no accountability, threatens buyers, steer clear". And then, I would've reported him to Discogs.

Definitely not the type of seller this community needs.

Just curious, what is his rating at Discogs?

Oh well, I can't change my feedback for a third time but it clearly states my only real issue with him being the over-grading. His removing my positive feedback really chaps my hide though.

99.9% with 1 Negative, 18 Neutrals, a lot of them CD grading issues and 1,183 Positive and he's been a member for almost 3 years. I guess I need the titles and media he's selling being a member for nearly 7 years with under 100 sales. :sigh:

I would still report him to Discogs. If all your communication was done through Discogs messaging system then the admins can read it all themselves. Let them know you complained about a bad grading on a CD and he threatened you with filing charges in a New York court.

Ok, I'm taking both yours and @Strat-Mangler 's advice and have filed a complaint with Discogs.

You're wasting your time which is a more valuable commodity.

In my opinion, this is definitely NOT a waste of time.

Good for you, Dave, for remaining polite but firm during your interactions with this loon. I have had far too many experiences with shoddy sellers on both eBay and Discogs myself and it's always worth tagging these people for their wrongdoings by using the feedback system. That's what it was designed for, after all.

Imagine the nerve of him, threatening to take legal action against you.

    Suggestion...

Contact Discogs personally on phone, don't just accept the E-mail contact...

There are contact #s & that is the avenue to pursue...

That is how I deal with any site I have problems...

F--k the E-mails I'm talking to someone who has bars draggin' the ground , if you catch my drift

Speak professional & business like but be assertive...

That approach has never failed me when I had issues with a seller

Maybe I will Sam, thanks. I've always used this method with Paypal with much success.

    You know it!

Just draw a line , stand firm & follow the chain of command until you get results...

Good luck Dave & keep us posted on the forum

Had a couple a'hole sellers on there taking my money and puddering around with getting it out. Probably record store employees who've seen Hi Fidelity a couple times and want to be Jack Black. Either that or the sellers were located in the Northeast US.

Did he do anything that's actually against Discogs' rules? Honest question.
