Hopefully that isn't the model that I sent back! I had an issue with hum on that model and had to send it back.

 

Looks like they distinguish between “Open Box” and “Consumer Return” in the item description.

 

I just checked the list, the VPI TT that I referred to is gone, someone, somewhere snatched it up. FWIW, there is still an Open Box VPI Avenger TT with a 12" 3D printed reference arm that listed at $21K that is now $13K with 10% off brings it down to $11.7K. Obviously, still pricey, but if your looking for a TT and arm of that caliber this deal is a steal.

 

Rega RP10 w/ Apheta 2 cartridge, $5k after the extra 10% off. Whoever snags that is getting a spectacular deal.

The ultradecks went quickly. I was going between the P8 and Ultradeck, but the footprint of the ultradeck is a little too large for my space. But I have no doubt I made a good choice

 

Open box items are usually from a photo shoot. Safe to purchase as they put it back in the original shipping container.

Subscribe to their email list, they have these all the time.

 

I was told that the P8 was likely an in store demo or the like, and not a return as they hadn't had a P8 Apheta 3 customer return since July. I know an open box P8 has been on the site for at least a couple of weeks, but can't recall how long. In any event, full warranty, return policy and they said it was be checked for alignment, etc before shipping. Approximately $1000 off full retail, can't go wrong really!
