Currently re-watching the BBC Pride and Prejudice (1995), adapted in six parts by Andrew Davis. I finished re-reading the novel last night. Exquisite.

Coming down to the last three eps of You're The Worst. Avoided it while the wife was watching, because I didn't want her to see me ogling Aya Cash. Imagine my surprise to find it was suitably snarky and well-produced enough to get caught watching it for the raunchy humor.

On the other hand, no matter how I try to catch-up with Modern Family (aka, First World Problems )...they just keep making more of them! :realmad: All I want to do when it's time to watch something together, is to not have to start the evening with a wacky sappy sitcom populated by people I swear I would run over if they were my real neighbors. You get to the end of the season, finally able to get my wife to focus on better-written dramas, and get off the thirtysomething/Parenthood/ThisIsUs train...and you learn, you better blow through the good stuff fast, because once the next season starts, she's not gonna be able to focus on anything non-caucasian-suburbanite-soapy again...

    I'm watching

Robert Redford's The West. Interesting for it's timeline but I imagine this show starts a lot of bar-fights
Operation Blue Book. 'True' story of hundreds of UFO spottings in the 50's. Not silly enough to stop me watching. But close
Mastermind Australia. Worth watching for the contestants' totally weird subjects (a guy did forgotten Australian girl group Girlfriend last week)
The Chase (UK). The best gameshow. Ever
    Fortitude (season three). brrrrr!!!
Killing Eve (season 2). Worth watching for the music alone.
Vera (season 8) The first three murders could have been solved in twenty minutes if Vera had asked the right questions or even Googled but the last one had a pretty good twist. Season nine is available.

“The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina” - This is a great show with an amazing cast! Highly recommended!!!

Currently occupying a traditional burn-off position on ABC's schedule, Bless This Mess, starring the always reliable Dax Shepard and the oddly hot Lake Bell as two fish out water New Yorkers trying to make a go of it as farmers in Nebraska, is a wonderfully witty show with a blow-out cast. David Koechner, Ed Begley Jr., Susie Essman, Lennon Parham, and Pam Grier (!) make this half hour single cam an absolute delight to watch. Only 6 episodes, but the big wigs at the network liked it enough to order a second season. It's really amazing what small gems you can uncover when you watch TV as obsessively as I do!

And on the exact opposite side of the spectrum is this HBO miniseries about Chernobyl. Not for the faint of heart, it was difficult to get through the first episode-but it was riveting.

I gave up around season 5. I'm watching the final season just to see how it finishes, but it's waaaaaaaay past its best.

The first four seasons are wonderful.

    I think we're in a "new normal". ;)

My wife got hooked on The Gilmore Girls. I watch with her sometimes. That show is absolutely fantastic. It hit the airwaves after we dunped TV in our home (1997) so it is a new discovery thanks to Netflix.

Just starting on American Horror Story: Asylum, Episode one.
Watched Murder House a couple of months back. Really enjoyed it. I don't think I'd seen any TV drama quite like it before, though Twin Peaks is obviously in its DNA.
I have the first three seasons on BluRay.
