The Gunners are a fantastic hard rock band and I've always enjoyed their great studio albums. Every time I tried to rank them, for me, "Use Your Illusion I" came out on top of all. But what do you think about that? Which one is your favourite album of this awesome group?

    It's not even a question.

1 of their albums is one of the greatest, most exciting and dangerous albums of all time and the others aren't.

AFD..a monster debut album that really and truly could never be topped.

Some bands get that one 'monster' album years into their career..then lose their way, for instance..Metallica's Black album..then it all went South.

Hey! I think Load and Death Magnetic are pretty damn good, Death Magnetic topping anything after AJFA.

Yeah..good albums, but nowhere near the Black album, even for all the haters that album has, Metallica have had no such commercial success with anything since.

"Appetite" is #2 for me after UYI. Especially "Paradise City" and "Jungle" are very high opon my personal favourites. Great album, too.

Even though we seem to totally disagree about UYI, at least I agree with you that "Chinese Dimocracy" and "G N' R Lies" are, despite having some cool tracks, way of the pace compared to the rest.

You don't get much better than Appetite For Destruction when it comes to GNR. However, my favourite GNR performance is the GNR Lies version of "You're Crazy".

This poll should be pretty one sided.

And I'll oblige, it's 'Appetite. All day, every day. And it ain't even close.

I'm not sure we should count Lies, as that's really a compilation of two EPs. I voted for Appetite for Destruction. It's one of the great rock albums from the '80s (along with Back in Black).

Definitely Appetite For Destruction. Use Your Illusion is great but has some flaws.
If the best of both Illusion volumes would be merged into one disc it might be even better than Appetite.

I always wondered how good UYI would have been if it was one album. AFD is easily their best and up there with the best hard rock albums of all time.

Death Magnetic is dreadful IMO. If you can get past the garbage mastering you'll find a pile of cr@p songs. YMMV.:p

It would still be lacking in attitude and a balls to the wall production job.
