It should've ended when Leonard and Penny started dating.

I agree then it became like Friends I love Friends but The Big Bang should not copied
the ross and rachael drama fine for there show but tired and lazy for big bang.
And it should never allowed Amy or Bernadette.
It ruined the formula of the show I have been to enough sci fi cons
to now most guys never get married or even date.
One guy said it was all about babyboomer pop culture I realize
    he was dead on.

The Halloween episode with Howard dressed as Sheldon was quite funny. This was one of the funniest episodes I've seen in most of the later seasons.

Well, for the final season, I've not watched all the Season 12 episodes so far; I have missed 2 or 3 so far. I do think this show has run its course. And its ending is due.

I watch the Young Sheldon show, but for me, just one watch per episode is enough. Young Sheldon sort of reminds me of the Wonder Years.

I thought it had a similar vibe too. I am enjoying that show FAR more than I ever thought I would.

I agree, I thought it was pretty funny too. Before watching the show, I saw some pics of Howard dressed up and my immediate thought was that he was doing Maxwell Smart! The hair and makeup just matched my mental image of Smart, before I knew what the episode was about.

I've watched the episodes since the new season started.....FLAT. Should we put a knife in it now?

For the people who have watched far more episodes than I have:

Has there ever been an episode where one of the women was wrong? Where Penny and Leonard got into a fight and Leonard wasn't the one who caused it? Where Amy and Sheldon got into a fight and Sheldon wasn't the one who caused it? Where Bernadette and Howard got into a fight and Howard wasn't the one to blame? It just seems like the writers are incapable of coming up with a scenario where the men are always the problem.

I thought it was pretty good. One of the better episodes they'd done this season.

KinkySmallFace1991 Will you come back to me, Sweet Lady Genevieve?

I gave up on Big Bang in 2016. I got really jaded with it, and it was a shell...almost mockery of the show I fell in love with in 2009. I don't know or care about what the characters are doing or up to now.

And that is how you properly wrap up a long-time series.

That was one of the better endings to a series in a long time.

Chuck Lorre should have done that 4 or 5 years ago. I haven’t seen an episode in that time frame, but I am glad that Lorre went with a fairytale happy ending and finally put the show out of its misery; unlike all of his other shows where he typically takes the “scorched earth policy.”

For years it was my favorite show on TV. I loved that show. I watched the reruns daily on TBS. That was until it jumped the shark and turned into the worst “comedy” ever: friends.

That being said, the Sheldon Cooper character is easily one of the all time greats of situation-comedies. And for that matter, television.

I’m sure one day I’ll binge the missed episodes, but for now, I’ll just let it be.

I don't think this gives anything away but the finale for me essentially a rehash of the lesson Diana Ross learns at the end of Mahogany...

Success is nothing for Sheldon Cooper without the ones he loves to share it with.

If I can paraphrase William Shakespeare, “It is better to leave three years too soon, than a minute too late.”
