Reeves with dogs and Halle Berry (and not necessarily in that order), how can anyone not like this movie?

I'm looking forward to it! Enjoyed the first two immensely, even though I was very late to the first one. Critical viewers need not apply.

Saw it, LOVED IT. IMO it falls just a touch short of John Wick 2, which I think did a slightly better job of balancing the action with character drama as well showcasing it's violence as a sort of poetry. There are a few moments where the humor just wasn't for me and felt out of place, which took me out of the film a little. But I mean, very small criticisms on my end. It's a super fun two hours and you still get everything you love about the series and John Wick. It's also a blast to see Halle Berry kick some serious a** in one spectacular sequence.

I just got back and if you love non-stop action, you will love this. I think I was correct in saying there are more killings in this one than the previous 2 combined. Over 2 hours of non-stop killing in every imaginable way.

Story-wise, I think this one was the weakest of the three, but the action makes up for it along with the twist ending.

Halle Berry and her 2 dogs were a treat too.

Both Keanu and Halle trained for 5-7 months (5 for Keanu and 7 for Halle) for their roles and did all their own stunts and fighting. They were trained by some of the Asian actors/martial artists who play some of the bad guys in the movie. Halle said in interviews it was the most intense training she ever did for a role.

    Loved it.

    Saw it in Cinemark XD.

Cycle chase was the highlight for me.

If you like the other 2 this is just as good.

I saw first the John Wick movie, which to me was a non stop ballet of him killing people.

It’s the film that made me realize I don’t enjoy violence like I used to.

When I read that JW3 beat the Avengers this weekend I got curious. Can't recall whether the last Keanu Reeves movie I saw was Matrix or Speed. Been awhile. So for the heck of it, I cued up #1&2 and watched them tonight. I thought they were fun! With these kind of movies, the plot/writing is pretty much secondary to the action. So I pay extra attention to the fighting choreography. Been a huge fan of this kind of stuff since the Bruce Lee/Kung Fu movie days! The 'Wick' fighting style of gunning and punching is a fun thing to watch! I'm all in for 3!;)

I really dig his signature move in JW2, where he swiftly takes a goon down to ground so he can get a clean head shot off.
