    Bonjour à tous,

I'm heading for La Douce France in a couple of days.

Anybody have suggestions for Record Stores to visit in Paris?
I'm a vinyl as well as CD collector, mainly rock and (french) folk.

    Merci beaucoup!
    Sq.

I can't call myself an expert on all of the record stores in Paris, but Superfly Records is one of the (if not the) best record stores that I have ever visited in my life. It's a fairly small store, but they have outstanding African, world music, and jazz collections and a good rock selection. The owner is very friendly and speaks great English. I make it a point to visit there whenever I am in Paris. Only vinyl; no CDs and is located near Arts & Metiers.

Plus de Bruit, on La Rochefoucault street. When i am in Paris i always and only go there. Useless to waste time in the others expensive stores.

Not what it used to be but still tons of stuff for vinyl fans. You need to allow plenty of time.
I recommend Gibert Joseph for new and second hand vinyl and cds. Lots of choice for all type of music and good prices.

In the heart of Latin quarter Boulevard Saint Michel. You have Crocodisc stores nearby and a couple of other second hand stores like Boulinier walking towards the Seine.
