Very sad situation. Does not sound like the husband is in good health.

I’m confused. It took from July to April to find his body in his own home? Why didn’t they check his home first?

Arrest made in Dennis Day's death

    Very strange timeline:

July 13, 2018: Day's husband admitted to hospital. (But who called the authorities??)
July 17, 2018: police learn that Day was allegedly going to visit friends. (But who told them this??)
July 26, 2018: Day's car is found in the possession of an unidentified male and female.
July 27, 2018: Day is officially listed as a Missing Person.
August 8, 2018: police receive a report of a "bad smell" coming from Day's home. Police investigate and report that "nothing smelled" in the area.
April 4, 2019: police bring in a cadaver dog and locate Day's body inside the home.

It took them 8 months to bring in a cadaver dog. That's a shame.

More interestingly is the fact that they searched the house several times while he was missing and no body was found. I’m curious where they located it. If it was buried on the property, etc. Since there was an arrest for manslaughter, I’m curious to what led to that.

Reading the timeline I’m not a fan of how the investigation was handled either.

You probably saw a picture of the Dennis Day who was a regular on THE JACK BENNY SHOW in the 40s(radio)and TV(50s, 60s). This is a different Dennis Day, a Woman.

Oops, there WAS a Dennis Day on the 50s Mickey Mouse club! So he was half of a Gay Marriage. OK. I got confused. The other Dennis Day's real name was Owen McNutley.

    More details released

Day's body was hidden beneath a giant pile of clothes. I really have to wonder how anyone could miss that.

Man it just sounds worse and worse. It’s almost there with Bobby Driscoll.
