(and I'll say it again) The original bootleg (mostly the 1st set) with that same title is also a must-have. The official relase was mostly the second set.

The picture quality from no security and voodoo lounge from the reviews I’ve read aren’t that great to purchase

Probably better on DVD than Blu-ray perhaps.

Interesting...I thought the mix on this was really bad. It was a bit better on headphones.

Both sets should have been officially issued by now, in an affordable configuration.

I’m looking forward to checking it out later. Always liked what I heard in the past from this show. Not sure a 16 minute rendition of Miss You will be easy to get through, but I’ll give it shot.

I meant that, if the picture quality isn't top notch, it's not worth watching it on Blu-Ray on a big TV. If it's on DVD on a medium sized TV, it'd be fine.

Yeah, I listened to a few tracks and Mick seemed notably tired, vocally, particularly on "Saint Of Me," which is a pretty high-energy song, vocally. Mix sounded decent on headphones, although for this tour I'll probably still play the St. Louis show more. But it's not a bad release. I think the mix is better than the Voodoo Lounge Uncut one, for what that's worth.

Stopped by the local FYE and picked up the 2-CD/1-DVD release of Bridges to Bremen. Going to listen to it over the weekend.

Someone needs to convince them to release the Roundhouse show in its entirety.

Even at SD resolution, I think the pic quality gets a minor boost on Blu-ray due to better/less compression. It's not a big leap but BD has a level of stability DVD would lack.

    And lossless sound, too!

yeah the issue with that one is that it seems to cost over a thousand dollars - am I missing something?

Yes but if you watch it on DVD, on a medium sized TV screen, you are not comparing it to anything, so the experience is just as good. Once you're in, you just go with it. Low end heaven.

I’m loving it. Cranking the vinyl til the wee hours of the morning.

I’ll get to the Blu-ray tomorrow. But, I absolutely love it....vinyl sounds great.
    Loved this tour!

I am still trying to work out why Bremen wasn't released in the From the Vault series, however I have realised that there is a link between at least some of the expected releases in the Uncut series - Atlantic City '89, St Louis '97 as well as the Voodoo Lounge Uncut set all feature special guests.

I'm not claiming no one should be happy with the DVD. Just saying there are visual and auditory benefits to having the show on BD...
