Loud, harsh and brittle. What a shame.

From The Early Years box, on CD or Blu-ray.
Yeah... And I do believe it was a mistake (not a deliberate choice) that affected (nearly if not) the entire box. The sampler compilation, CRE/ATION, may not be affected or simply not to the same degree. Aside from those few tracks, I doubt we'll ever get to hear this material—at least, not officially—without the botched mastering.

EDIT: revised upon a spot relisten to the comp.

    a cool listening experience ...

This is the original quadraphonic mix of Pink Floyd's legendary album "Wish You Were Here". This is an entirely new experience of this 1975 classic. We have upmixed the original and rarely heard 4 channel mix with Envelop's software (Envelop for Live), creating a 32 channel experience that respects the original masterpiece.

I'm still super happy that I managed to get one of the Division Bell 5.1 DVDs from the official store for $15.

Might have to give the CDs another listen. Haven't listened since release, other than some of the BBC sessions.

Paid £30 for mine on Amazon Marketplace. Would have strongly preferred the 20th Anniv box for the lossless 5.1 mix on Blu Ray but the prices had already skyrocketed for the box. If, as is being suggested, the new box follows suit for the Early Days box, having the multichannel material on both DVD and Blu will make everyone happy.

And even as a lossy 5.1 DVD, the 5.1 mix for TDB is stunning, isn’t it?

I was just going to post that @Josip for them to post that must mean the announcement is going to be next week (Friday) or early July.

That High Hopes radio edit will most likely be in the box set for them to release it now is a hint. Be more of a give away if they release in the next few days another single live b-side from AMLOR

Now that Gilmour's guitar auction has ended you can expect the promos and teasers for TLY to ramp up.

I think Christie's should probably re-evaluate their estimator. They were waaaaaaaaaaay off!

Auctions have to start somewhere, who knows where they are going to go when for some bidders money is no object and a few million is small change to them.

Never in over forty five years of listening to Pink Floyd have I been more underwhelmed at the thought of the upcoming Later Years. I'm half interested in hearing a de-eightied MLOR in 5.1, but anything else Pffffff. I already have the DB DVD-A so I don't need another version of that. Can't wait, not.

I would not wish too, we all have our own tastes. The Gilmour Floyd era does little for me, it's just that little bit too different, only proves how essential Roger Waters input was.
