Let me paraphrase you here - you aren't interested in seeing this movie?

There is nothing wrong with saying they dislike this movie, or are so certain they would dislike it that they are not intnding to see it... but I think there is something very sad about getting so worked up and angry aboout this film’s mere existence. It’s only a movieafter all. It’s not important enough to allow it to stress you out and harm your personal relationships.

Yes, that's what I was getting at. This movie practically treats the Beatles like gods (which I don't necessarily disagree with :D) so I don't understand why many Beatles fans are in such a huff about it without even having seen it!?!

Okay, what if it wasn't written by f'ing Richard Curtis ? And written by someone you approved of, or had never heard of? Then would you go , or do the same rules apply? Is it just the richard curtis thing that's making you so angry?

I saw it today. Didn't know what to expect. Saw a trailer. Have avoided most reviews.

    I L-O-V-E-D it.

Didn't ask you, my friend. But I'd ask you what's your problem with Danny Boyle? He's certainly proved himself a worthy filmmaker...

I haven't a problem with either Curtis or Boyle, but I'm not a great fan of their films thus far.

I thought Slumdog and 127 Hours were ok at the time, but find that I can't remember anything much at all about them except the basic premise. It's quite possible that I'll enjoy the Yesterday film. I don't know. I won't make a prior judgement.

As long as it gets millennial's into The Beatles instead of their phones, it's a good thing.

The look on the main character’s face when he goes online and scrolls around this forum looking for Beatles threads is absolutely priceless.

You should read the Bob Dylan Rolling Thunder comments
    I loved it
Very amusing as was the premise
Some movies are just to be enjoyed as fun and not analysed as if it’s intention was to be a masterpiece
Whatever else theBeatles are or were they were fun and had a real sense of humour
and can be loved just on that basis
    Like the movie

Just got done watching Shallow Grave, first movie I've watched from Danny. Really good, felt like a horror movie at times.

I’ll see it sooner or later. But it seems like a cool idea for a movie.

I haven't seen this film yet. It sounds like it's not what I was hoping it would be.

Nothing wrong with a harmless romcom, but I wish Yesterday had been in the hands of a writer more interested in exploring the premise.
