The Thin Lizzy demo/archives thing...still waiting and not any closer to looking like being released.

  2. It morphed into Bryan's solo album that Phil, Eno, Paul and Andy appear on...not altogether though.

I'm interested in hearing CSN Behind Blue Eyes too, but the CSN covers album was never finished. I recall reading that about 7 tracks were done in varying states of completion. Not enough for a full album, so there's little chance they will be officially released unless the C and the S and the N go back in and record more tunes and finish off the tracks they already have.

Something that was announced by Warner Brothers to be imminently released, and then never was, that I'm VERY much interested in is Tongue And Groove by Bonnie Raitt -- 4 songs were used on her Nine Lives album (with other things that were recorded some time later), but I want Tongue And Groove, dammit!

I believe Paul even said the name of the album would be "Cold Cuts"

I remember reading in Billboard sometime during the 1979/1980 school year that Foreigner was recording shows for a live album. Of course they scrapped that idea, hired Mutt Lange, and had a monster hit with Foreigner 4. Smart move.

Those tapes from 8 or 9 shows are now at Wolfgang's Vault.

Prince was a Gemini. He changed his mind like many of us Gemini’s do all the time.

There were rumours ten or fifteen years ago of a Duane Allman box set of Capricorn recordings. Apparently there were some studio recordings featuring Duane with Peter Green to be included, which made a big splash among Green fans. Nothing happened and no more info has surfaced.

I hope you're right. Would love to see an Anthology-like box set of rare Queen material! The 50th anniversary would be in 2021 or so, right?

I was wondering what happened with that but then there's the Eight Days A Week documentary which probably was the 'result'.

It is. Solo was made up of recordings from his 1975 tour of England. There were talks years ago of a “Solo 2” with different tracks from those shows, but this has also never happened. It’s an unfortunate reality for those of us who are huge McLean fans.

Yes, I'd really wanted the Audio Fidelity never released version of Scorpions - Love Drive.

Stevie's recent health problems probably had something to do with with all those projects not being released yet.

If they do come out, we should cherish them.

A couple years ago The Who were going to release a boxset that would include such things as a version of Eminence Front with Daltrey singing the lead.

I know it doesn't really count as a release, but if anyone needs all 12 tracks they're on Wolfgang's Vault.

Was such a thing ever actually announced (beyond the outtakes found on Anthology 2)?

I know that there was a web site up for a while detailing all kinds of great stuff in a Revolver Sessions box set, but that site didn't mention video, and it ended with "APRIL FOOL" so that now-deleted page doesn't really count as an announcement.
