S is for Stereo Nasty (S is too rich to resist) Some traditional Heavy Metal with this sad message I just saw: "April 15 · It's with heavy hearts that we have to say that Stereo Nasty has come to an end. We can no longer commit to giving the band the attention that it deserves so it's time to stop. Thanks to all of you who have helped us in anyway over the years, because of you we went further than we ever dreamed was possible. Stay Nasty"
Can't stop. The emotion and theatrics employed by these two are so good I can't decline them. S is for Svartelder A masterclass in emotive narration me thinks.
S is for Svartmálm The finest of finales Gotta get up early to milk the chickens. Good night, I'm done.
Like it or hate it, and I'm a bit of both, this is an interesting album. The possessed chihuahua rabid vocals similar to Cradle of Filth are annoying for me but everything else I can live with. Manic at times, of the 7 songs (27 minutes) #6 is a good jump in point - Rebirth 18:01 for some delicacy. I'll give it time. June 7, 2019
Bargain Basement Monday A pair I admit I'm giving a touch more time for due to the "low low low prices". Each a post-metal exercise and I do like what I hear so far. For free if you have the guts for it, the music, the price. That's irreconcilable I think given the sincerity of the music. The loveliest, serene finish here at 4:00 (though not Finnish. From Calee-forn-eye-A). I'm Losing Myself, by An Isolated Mind Written, recorded, mixed, mastered, and painted by Kameron Bogges March 16, 2019

Which reminded me to look and indeed a new tune came out from the upcoming Tomb Mold album. Planetary Clairvoyance, by Tomb Mold July 19
Can't wait for this one. Haven't bought much vinyl this year, due to lack of % off ebay sales, but I will be getting this one. Ossuarium is the only one I've bought on vinyl so far this year.
I was wondering do you guys know the super weird Canadian kid's show from the early 70's The Hilarious House of Frightenstein? A guy broadcasting a pirate station (15.1) over-the-air (antenna) has been showing it on Sunday mornings and I was inspired to change avatar. The Hilarious House of Frightenstein - Wikipedia Just curious if it crossed the border. Episode 1 of 130, filmed in 1971, one season. At 50:50 is an interview with Billy Van who played all the main characters. I get a kick out of the Professor 42:41 who gives a totally straight physics lesson.
Also visual arts, the Hellhammer shirt after a wash and wear is quality. Not the thick cotton of the very best quality but the thinner stretchy material which I like it more. (Getting funny looks on the subway though. hehe). So now I want another but undecided between obscure Bathory or overt, in your face Bathory. Which one do you vote for? Obscure Overt
I'm hitting them up for a better listen. I just looked at photos (afraid of spoilers) and I get a Wicker Man vibe. Hope it's spooktacular.
The same bandcamp page has another artwork by the same guy, Mariusz Lewandowski. It's not as good but I mention it as the single song available is good. Sept 6. Cairn, by מזמור
