Advanced tickets not yet on sale?

 

Some crazy dude with advanced ticket ready to cause disturbance at theatre screening, in the news. Not easy for QT in these turbulent times ..life so much easier 25 years ago with Pulp Fiction.

 

I'm trying to figure out how to get an advanced ticket at the New Beverly Cinema on Aug 26

 

Too much of a build up for me with this film. I’m going nonchalant I’ll see the film when I see it no time preference,theatre preference. Trying not to be premeditated as possible. Saying that I felt the complete opposite with The Hateful Eight I made sure I got the right theatre screen size sat in posh seats very respectable patrons.

 

Olivia Munn back in the news regarding Tarantino getting a free pass out of the Weinstein scenario a couple of years ago.

The US are getting it a lot earlier than Europe/UK, bit rubbish as I’m really looking forward to seeing this one.

Strange there’s been no soundtrack release date yet with the film being released in 3 weeks.

What’s this different version of the hateful eight on Netflix? Was reading about it but wasn’t sure if it’s only on Netflix USA as I couldn’t see any difference on Netflix UK ?

 

Think its QT trying to control bad reviews. Which is a bit annoying as all the YouTube nerds are going to spill the Californian juice regards to films content.

 

It does not interest me.

 

Dunno about other chains, but I can buy tickets for opening day at AMC right now!

 

i find it interesting that the TV commercials are still saying 'this film has not yet been rated".

it's quentin tarantino.......it has charles manson overtones.........would they like me to rate it for them?

 

Yeah, they just went on sale. Not in Dolby Cinema in San Diego, I gotta figure out the best "normal" projector in town to see it on.

 

I think build up can make you like a film more. Except in The case of “Prometheus. “

 

I looked at my local AMCs and also saw no evidence it'd be on either IMAX or Dolby.

Surprised, but I'm guessing "Lion King" - which opens a week earlier - has the premium screens locked up when "Hollywood" arrives...

 

They're probably in discussions about how much he has to lose to avoid an X.

 

well...THAT would certainly get some butts in the seats!

 

The last Tarantino movie is rated X. It seems kind of appropriate.

 

I've got my tickets for the first Saturday show.

 

Then it should be rated IX

 

I’m disappointed that there isn’t a 35mm campaign.

Is it only being released in 70mm and digital?

 

I’m gonna go bribe my way in like Winston Wolff would. Anyone got the blueprints for the Arc Light Theater?

 

It appears that there will be 35mm, 70mm blowups and digital. I don’t know who can show 35mm in the Philadelphia area.

 

Scene the trailer on the big screen today while I was waiting to watch Spider Man : Far From Home. QT’s once Upon A Time In Hollywood film trailer looked like a cheapo b movie but not funny like Hobo With A Shotgun.
