    I remember him doing ads on TV for some horse racetrack back in the 80s when I lived in southern California. Even those were awesome. And then there's this one:



    He was unique. 88 ain't bad. RIP.

    I've been a big fan of Rip Torn since I was a kid. Of all the actors who have portrayed Richard Nixon, he was my favorite.

    A shame to hear about his passing, and I was just looking him up the other day as well. The only thing that I know him from is that Disney movie called Hercules.
