Cure Kiss Me Chris Bellman Pressing Question

Does anybody know if this pressing on discogs is the same as the Rhino red vinyl pressing of Kiss Me Kiss Me by the Cure (The Cure - Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me )?

I just wanted to make sure the black vinyl is the same Chris Bellman cut as the red one. I've heard the "Robert Smith" remastered version is terrible...

 

Bellman signs his lacquers with "CB" so you need to check the deadwax. But it's my understanding all recent Rhino US reissues use the "CB" lacquer.

The EU Version is terrible because it uses the "Robert Smith" digital remaster and put that to wax through some anonymous in-house mastering/ cutting.

 

I updated the Discogs record for the matrix data for the May 13, 2016 US release. The OPs links were unhelpful, so the OP is being punished for supplying poor links. He didn't link me, so I won't link the OP or directly answer the question. Feel free to add a follow-on post with your answer. It's included in the update. The data was actually there previously, but, the release review committee did it's magic and deleted the matrix data with a merging of release records.

 

Did Chris just cut with Smith's digital or did he actually have access to do a new mastering?

 

I can’t imagine it not being the RS mid cut by Bellman to vinyl.

Big misconception that cutting engineers automatically master as well.

Are you speaking of the recent MPO pressing, or the GZ pressing? I've had the GZ and agree that's crap, but the MPO sounds fantastic, to me at least...
