Songs that predicted the future, either intentional or not

Most obvious would be "The Times They Are A Changing", boy was that a prophetic one or what? Pretty much predicted most of the 1960's culture:

"...Come mothers and fathers

Another example, the very last song on Janis Joplin's last album (and written by her!) has the line,

"Don't you know when you're loving anybody, baby
You're taking a gamble on a little sorrow
But then who cares, baby
'Cause we may not be here tomorrow, no..."

Another one, the Bee Gees "How Can You Mend A Broken Heart", I wonder if Barry Gibb sang this at either of his brothers funeral,

"...I can still feel the breeze
That rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow
But no one said a word about the sorrow..."

In The Year 2525 by some guys Zager and Evans is the first thing that came to mind which is really bizarre now or in the future because for the life of me I’m not sure if I even ever heard the song. I am sure I can’t remember it. So to make amends I’m racking my brain to think of one that fits the bill that I can recall with clearity and I’m drawing a blank. That little story, episode aren’t song lyrics but maybe that’s looking into my future. Funny how the mind works... or doesn’t.

How about David Peel and The Lower East Side’s The Pope Smokes Dope. With the decriminalizeation and legalization of weed I’m sure any day we’ll see the Pope walk out onto a balcony joint in hand and proclaim smoking weed is legal in Vatican City.

 

Kraftwerks "Computerwelt" album has several of those songs!

I also remember "Deeper Understanding" by Kate Bush sounding pretty alien in 1989.

 

How about Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe McCoy’s 1929 When The Levee Breaks... Today July 12, 2019 there are torencial rains in Louisiana; it’s raining like mad; it’s expected to for days, and there are real concerns and fears the Levees Gona Break.

I apologize to the OP, but I do not see how the 3 songs in the OP predicted the future.

I don’t know about “predicted the future,” but Sabbath’s “Computer God” is almost crazy considering where we now are with AI, changing DNA encoding and the like.

Dio and Butler were using quasi-religious themes for this concept, but that this was issued in 1992 and was talking about the dangers of computers ruling the world is flat-out nuts, IMO.
