Boring! I was hoping for a U.S. singles box. The only thing that could make this interesting is if they used picture sleeves from different territories.

Since these are the U.K. singles, does that mean no picture sleeves for the majority of the discs?

I wouldn’t think so. @mikecarrera has said the set is “beautiful”. I’m wondering if there are going to be all new picture sleeves.

Could someone post a couple of pics of their UK single sleeves to give us an idea of what's coming?
    Thanks! :righton:

Hopefully this set will be AAA and feature unique new sleeves. I sure hope they don't just reprint the picture sleeves that were included in the early 80's "Beatles Singles Collection" box set.

I like the idea of using sleeves from various countries. Wonder which US ones will be included if any?

Originals didn’t have pic sleeves, except SFF and LIB (and those are same as US pics)...

If you want to see the sleeves from the 1982 singles box, head here:

I see, that's why it was suggested to use pics from countries around the world. I hope they do that but not the US pics, we got those.

Yeah I don’t understand the argument that if there are people who already have originals from 1963 then this box is pointless. Not every fan owns every original single and this box will be a good way for fans who came along after 1970 to get hold of them in one place.

In my opinion, those sleeves are ugly.

I see. There were four in the 2011 red box with two Capitol sleeves and two Apple sleeves.

There were four more sold in 2011 in Target stores each boxed with a T-Shirt: Can't Buy Me Love, Help!, Hello Goodbye and Let It Be.

It wasn't a complete set, but I suppose it's a good representation of some of the Capitol sleeves.

If they would make a complete Capitol and Apple set 45' with PS I would buy it as original Capitol PS can be pricey for minty sleeves.

AAA would have to mean mono, right? Most of the original stereo mixes were made after the fact, for example Yes It Is.

That would be quite boring since the Mono Masters already covers most of these songs, on beautiful 180 gram vinyl. Or you can get the 70’s reissues of the singles for quite cheap and they sound great.

Also, with the fact that the White Album and Abbey Road Deluxe editions didn’t include remixes of the singles, you’d have to think they were waiting for this opportunity.
