It says it here in the Wiki page:

"While living for a period in Canada, she was a backup singer for American-born rockabilly singer Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins' band The Hawks. After going out on their own they became The Band, a group that is considered legendary."

    Indeed!

Dan was wonderful writer who could back it up with that voice and excellent instrumental skills. So glad we didn't have to miss out on all that music!

From the man himself :) :
"Here in New York, it's "Yo, Bowie!" They're quite civil.
In London, it's "Dave!" - always Dave. I want to smack 'em, because my name's David. I hate being called Dave, and I think they know it."

Maybe not absurd, but I was surprised to find out that Jay Ferguson wrote the opening theme for the show The Office (US version).

Does the Wikipedia page for The Band cross reference that Beverly D'Angelo was a backup singer for them?

Is her birthdate of Nov 15, 1951 correct on all sources?

Here's the link to the 2017 Beverly D'Angelo interview where she explains her singing career:

Wikipedia is edited by anyone in the world who wants to edit a page. Sometimes people put in erroneous info for a variety of reasons (mistyping, drawing an incorrect conclusion, stupidity, humor, protest, etc)

For example -There's a thread on here by a guy who asked this forum if Marvin Gaye played piano AND drums on his 1962 hit "Stubborn Kind Of Fellow" because "it sounds like his drum style". So the forum member posted it as a "fact" on the Wikipedia page shortly afterwards.

Whilst not the best piece of trivia and it sure is trivial, my favourite piece of trivia is that in the 80's my band used to rehearse in a basement underneath a shop. I later learnt via a local newspaper article that The Spyders From Mars rehearsed preproduction of the Ziggy album in the basement of the shop next door. I'd oft wondered why my band would regularly jam the Ziggy title track back then when I've not really done so before or since. Must have soaked into the walls. T'was a very unglamorous place though. Lol.

The first three songs on Kiss' Unmasked album form an actual question/statement:

Is that you, Shandi? Talk to me.

The number of tracks on each side of the Beatles White Album correlates to the number of letters in the last (real) name of each band member...

Side One - Harrison (8 tracks, 8 letters)
Side Two - McCartney (9 tracks, 9 letters)
Side Three - Starkey (7 tracks, 7 letters)
Side Four - Lennon (6 tracks, 6 letters)

I couldn't make up this kind of stuff...:D

John McLaughlin and Albert Lee, two of the fastest guitar players on the planet, worked in the same music store and were friends. Perhaps in 75 pages this has already been mentioned!
