Seemed like Croz kinda let it out of the bag on his Twitter that it would appear on Netflix eventually? I don't have the Tweet handy but I thought he did intimate that.

I will probably go when it hits LA.

BMG (his record label which is also funding the project) probably won’t miss a chance to put out a soundtrack album. Might be a good way to get his recent live work out there officially.

Looks as though someone buried him and then dug him up.

  4. I'd also add Jimmy Page

I saw him on Christiane Amanpour last night and I thought he looked healthier than he has recently. He looks like he lost some weight.

....and he pretty much admits it these days......

......but.......c’mon.......Croz ain’t the only member of CSNY who can be a huge a$$hole......I keep hearing about Croz’s huge ego......which is true....but......Stills? (who is undoubtedly a guitar genius on his night).....I mean Neil isn’t egoless....

The movie opens in my area on 7/26 so I will definitely go see it. I think the Crosby interview bits in "Echo in the Canyon" serve as a teaser for this film. Looking forward to it.

I saw this in LA this past weekend and I thought it was extremely well done. An honest look at a flawed man who is a wonderful artist. He is so forthcoming and transparent in the interview clips he did with Cameron that it breaks your heart at times (well, mine anyway) and uplifts at others. I highly recommend it.

At the River East 21, you could see Remember My Name, Yesterday and Rocketman all on the same day.

ha ha ...I'm listening to it now and David's just started losing it ! It was going so well.
I have some sympathy with him but it would actually be a good thing if someone did a week by week chronology for posterity.
in terms of the interviewer, I think the interviewer was doing a fairly good job in terms of the general listener and more up-to-speed Crosby fan but I do wish someone would ask him about tracks like Lady Friend, Renaissance Fair, I See You because he's always asked "how did you meet Graham and Stephen, Roger and Gene etc..was Eight Miles High about drugs etc....how did Mr Tambourine Man come about...."

OK he's cooled out a bit....good recovery by the interviewer....I'll hang in there a bit.....
ooh....it's getting testy again re Our House.
    ok David's lost it.....
I'll be diplomatic and suggest that Croz could have handled that a bit better !
If he's finished that interview a bit earlier than expected any chance if he'd come and bung a harmony on one of my songs.

Wow ! Listening too. Have to wonder though, at the rate he was going at, how far would they have gotten in the allotted time ? Would they have even made it out of the 70s ?

Quite possibly. I thought he was asking interesting, worthwhile questions and that he had done his research. David just seemed like a really crabby guy. He was trying to get people to see the movie, and to do that you sort of have to let them know why David Crosby is important. It's highly likely most podcast listeners are under 40, and whether he likes it or not Crosby's music isn't necessarily relevant to them.

And I doubt it. Agree to disagree.

I wonder if the director had to make the film in 15 minutes segments?

This wasn't a podcast I normally listen to, and Rev Peyton suggested I do so. He and his band listen to a lot of podcast as they are driving from town to town, and he thought Crosby was just being completely unreasonable.
