Neil Young & Crazy Horse: New 2019 studio album “Colorado”

Announced on Neilyoungarchives.com. The completed album was handed in to Reprise today for release.

The record is dedicated to Elliot Roberts.

Fingers crossed that it actually comes out! It’s Crazy Horse - they haven’t made a bad record yet!

 

By the way, Neil's great with one word titles. HARVEST, HOMEGROWN, FREEDOM, and now COLORADO...

 

I wonder if there’s a song called “Colorado” on the album, and if so, is it an old song from Neil’s lost “travel album”?

It's a good title. Better than Pink Moon. Looking forward to it is an understatement.

 

I hope it's going to be good, Psychedelic Pill was their best since Sleeps With Angels so my expectations are high.

Life is almost bad.

I tried.

 

I liked Life.

 

It’s not a “bad” record. Just not as good as some of the others. “Long Walk Home” and “Lonely Heart Breaks” are good and i have a fondness for “Prisoners of Rock n Roll”

 

Yep, not a bad record to my ears. And I got to see them on that tour. Excellent!

 

Whatever happened to the 2-disc version of Ragged Glory?

 

Title was already taken by Nick Drake in the early `70s

 

I hope that the new record is filled with tight songs and not 28 minute jamfest indulgences.

I'm a big fan of Life and hoping that gets a remaster soon
