It was supposed to drop on the 26th, but it probably flew out of brick and mortar stores. Amoeba shows it available Aug 2. Deep Discount has it in stock. Downloads are available in the iTunes store now. Vinyl won't be out until sometime in the fall.

When was California Dreaming playing, the going out to dinner portion? I remember Out Of Time being through LAX, and I then I assume You Keep Me Hanging On pretty much the ending. It is a blur!?! Do we know what the Tarantino edit of YKMHO is, no vocals?

You may be right, but I’m also suffering from “The Blurs” .)

Others here have sharp recall and I bet they will answer that.

Meanwhile, thanks for the homework assignments for when I see it again. LOL

My local record shop says there's only a CD-R version currently. They mentioned the recent Lizzo album was the same deal, and they eventually offered actual CDs with nice packaging. Guess we gotta wait.

This Willie Dixon song, recorded by Johnny Rivers, 7th Son , works great as an additional track.

Everybody talkin' 'bout the seventh son
In the whole wide world there is only one

And I'm the one, I'm the one
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son

I can tell your future, it will come to pass
I can do things to you make your heart feel glad
Look in the sky, predict the rain
Tell when a woman's got another man

I'm the one, oh I'm the one
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son

I can talk these words that will sound so sweet
They will even make your little heart skip a beat
Heal the sick, raise the dead
Make the little girls talk outta their heads

I'm the one, oh I'm the one
    I'm the one,
    I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son

I can talk these words that will sound so sweet
They will even make your little heart skip a beat
Heal the sick, raise the dead
And make the little girls talk outta their heads

I'm the one, oh I'm the one
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son

    I'm the one, hey, hey
    I'm the one
    Oh, I'm the one, babe
    Oooo, I'm the one
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son
I'm the one, I'm the one
The one they call the seventh son

This haunting performance by Nancy Sinatra warrants another placement in a movie.

I attended the Happy Together Tour 2019 here in California on July 11th. Mark Lindsay was back on the bill and in good voice. I believe he may have been a stand in for Chuck Negron.
He was the highlight of the show for me. He seemed more than happy mentioning his songs being in the soundtrack to the film.

I believe Rick Dalton was listening to the Royal Guardsmen's "Snoopy vs. The Red Baron" when he was floating in his pool with headphones. If I remember correctly.

    My guess:

Some of the tracks have been so over-used. Business wise, some posters with knowledge of the business aspect say the costs would be prohibitive.

Artistically, he probably wanted to dig out some hidden gems and boost others.

+ Plus, the songs had to fit some element of the story or scene.

Right. I never ever want to hear For What It's Worth soundtrack a late-60s Southern California scene again, particularly if it involves riots on Sunset. And I definitely never want to hear Creedence soundtrack a Vietnam sequence. Cliches.

This song would fit the movie, like the proverbial glove .

It’s my absolute favorite version of Hey Joe - by The Leaves

When you click on the CD button, this appears: "Note: This product is manufactured on demand when ordered from Amazon.com."

Mine was supposed to be delivered from Amazon today, but received an email this morning indicating they were encountering a delay in shipping, with an estimated delivery date of Saturday.

Apparently too much demand for the one CD-R burner they have in the backroom.....

    Another Amazon product page mistake.
Bull Moose has no such caveat, neither does Import CDs. UPC is 190759728628
